Hello, I’m Rhidian – a fully qualified and highly experienced mathematics teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience across primary and secondary education. I’ve worked as both a primary maths lead and a comprehensive school maths teacher, giving me a deep understanding of how children develop mathematically from early foundations through to GCSE preparation.
I specialise in KS2 and KS3 maths, supporting pupils to build confidence, close gaps, and genuinely understand what they are doing – not just memorise methods. My approach is calm, structured and highly personalised, with lessons adapted to suit each learner’s needs and learning style.
I am also fully bilingual in English and Welsh, and can teach confidently in either language. This is particularly valuable for Welsh-medium learners or families who want support aligned with the Welsh curriculum.
