About Crista

I went through the language learning process in high school and college, and then moved to Spain for a year and a half, where I really became fluent in the language. I have always loved languages. After moving back to the US, I continually used my Spanish in social and work settings, and later moved to the Dominican Republic. I received my teaching license, and have been teaching for the past 6 years. I enjoy working with both children and adults to help them reach their goals!

About the lesson

First, I like to hear about your goals as well as engage in conversation with you in Spanish to get an idea of your level. Since lessons are online, I will share my screen and share a document with you that can be ongoing, where I will put questions, vocabulary, or practice so that you can access it throughout the week. Based on your goals, I will also send you resources to use for your own learning. Lessons can be conversation based, or focused on literacy/sentence structure, or a mixture of both. I always like to get to know my students' goals and interests, because this is YOUR time, and I am here to help you!
