About Yang
I am a native Mandarin speaker and have been teaching Mandarin privately for over 5 years. As a tutor, I focus primarily on Mandarin speaking, listening, reading, writing and vocabulary. I am a very down to earth and motivational tutor and love helping and watching my students succeed. My experience from teaching Mandarin privately has taught me the best approach to providing anyone with the highest quality outcomes is as follows:
- Understand the student goals and based on this prepare a personalised plan together
- Communication is key so all areas of concern should be address either in the lesson (verbally) or between lessons (email)
- Every student is different so my teaching style (visual/audio) will depend on what is most comfortable for the student
I offer lessons between 30 to 60 mins for kids/high school/university students and graduate employees. All sessions are online (i.e. Google/Zoom/Teams/WhatsApp/Skype) and can be with/without the camera turned on.
