About Chelsea
Hi! My name is Chelsea Huffman, and I recently graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with degrees in Mathematics and Education. I have experience substitute teaching in multiple school districts and coaching middle school basketball, which has helped me develop strong communication and teaching skills. I offer tutoring in middle school math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and general high school math. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to help students actively participate rather than just listen. I use practice problems, step-by-step guidance, games/activities when appropriate, and real examples to make learning math less stressful and more understandable while helping students build confidence and independence.
