About Micky
I was a former international primary/lower secondary school teacher, specialising in Maths, Science and English for almost 3 years. I choose to switch to tutoring as I recently had a newborn and wanted to take care of my baby. I have been tutoring since high school, primarily in-home tutoring as a group and one-to-one basis. I also had experience doing online lessons.

In short; targetted, efficient, relaxed and with dedication. The lesson will contain theory explanation, practice, exercise and problem-solving/high order thinking skills (HOTS/KBAT) questions. I often use the questioning method to check on the students' understanding and encourage students to do so as I believe learning is a two-way approach. To me, no question is too silly and all students are special in their own ways. My lesson usually lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes (15 minutes extra for further questioning and summarising) per session. I focused in tutoring for Year 1-4 Mathematics and Science.
