I am a maths teacher living in Oxford, I love maths and teaching and teaching maths! I have been tutoring since I was at school and I love getting to know students and helping them improve and learn to love my subject. My passion is helping young people achieve their goals and help them overcome whatever challenges they face.

I believe that every student learns differently, and that everyone can be successful in maths. A student-led approach has always been my preferred method, where I work with them to help them achieve their goals. I cater to all abilities and experiences, from students who love maths to others who have always had a rocky relationship with the subject. Regular, consistent sessions are key, building foundations to support progress at school.

George is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and reassuring. He keeps the lessons focused on building the skills and mathematical knowledge whilst also helping to build student confidence. He takes time planning his lessons so that they are tailored to the student’s needs. George has experience in teaching Maths to 7 year groups, from year 7 to 13. He is a Maths teacher who prepares you for exams and makes you believe in yourself even if you struggle with Maths.
George is an incredibly kind and intelligent man who cares about his students. Not only is he an amazingly methodical teacher but he consistently works hard to ensure his students understand both how to do the problems as well as why they are doing them.
