About Henry

Hi, my name is Henry and I'm from the UK.

I did a degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester in England.

I've always had a passion for Maths which is why I chose Engineering. I even taught most of my friends on the Engineering course how to do the Maths elements.

When I'm not teaching I play Rugby League which I am semi professional in and I also love soccer (we call it football where I come from). I like to find common ground with my students as I find sport is usually something that most people do. I also love movies and music though so I'm sure we'll be able to find something to talk about between questions.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn is through answering questions. I will come to the lesson prepared with worksheets on whatever we are going through. The process I use is Show, Help, Watch. This means I will first show you how to do a question, then help you through doing a question then finally watch you do a question on your own making sure you're doing it right.

Typically, the lessons I teach are an hour, I find this is long enough for a lesson as after that the student can often get tired and frustrated if they are struggling.
