About Nouman
I am a friendly and patient Maths tutor who specialises in working with KS3 and post-16 students, especially those preparing for GCSE resits or Functional Skills Maths. I understand that many students find Maths challenging or overwhelming, and I am passionate about helping them overcome these barriers through clear explanations, tailored support, and plenty of encouragement. With experience supporting learners from a range of backgrounds, I focus on building strong foundations and improving confidence. My approach is flexible, supportive, and results-focused, designed to help students make steady progress at their own pace. I believe every student can succeed in Maths with the right guidance and a positive, understanding environment.

I specialise in helping KS3 students and post-16 learners who are resitting GCSE Maths or working towards Functional Skills Maths. My lessons are calm, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, with a focus on building confidence and filling learning gaps. I break down tricky topics into simple steps and use plenty of practice questions and exam strategies to help students improve. My lessons are usually 60 minutes and include a mix of teaching, practice, and revision techniques. My sessions are ideal for learners aged 14+ who need extra support with Maths, whether they’re aiming to pass a resit or boost their grades.
