About Magda
I'm a very passionate person, I love travelling - it has helped me understand other cultures and how important it is to be able to communicate. Movies - they have been my biggest teachers for English and French. Cooking - Mexican cultures revolves around food. History - I find it fascinating how we can trace anything we are dealing with today with a historic event. But most importantly...Teaching is my essence. Once I took a test to find out about my calling, my passion, and hobbies. It turned out that the answer to the three was the same: Teaching. It's been scientifically proven that we need minimum ten thousand hours to learn a language - and I don't mean in the classroom or with a teacher. Every song, every movie, every podcast counts. It's important for me to get to know my students' passions and hobbies to be able to connect and find things that will make sense to them, and that they will enjoy.

Each person learns differently, I have content to suit what needs to be learned, but I focus my lessons on my students, their likes, their needs, and their particular way of learning. I make each lesson interesting and fun according to what each of my students' interests. In my experience, two things are required to learn anything: 1. You have to love it 2. You have to be positively motivated. Once we have both elements, we're good to go.
