About Musical
My teaching goes beyond simply learning notes and technique. I combine strong technical foundations with musicianship, creativity, and performance, helping students understand music, express themselves, and develop confidence as performers.
Teaching for me is a space to create, improvise, and nurture the talents of my students.
I hold a Master of Music in Classical Performance from the Australian Institute of Music and bring my professional experience as a musician, composer, and theatre director into my teaching.

I am an experienced piano and singing teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience, working with children, teenagers, and adults.
My teaching goes beyond simply learning notes and technique. I combine strong technical foundations with musicianship, creativity, and performance, helping students understand music, express themselves, and develop confidence as performers.
Piano lessons focus on technique, note reading, rhythm, musicianship, and musical expression, while singing lessons develop healthy vocal technique, breathing, pitch, articulation, and performance skills.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests and typically run for 30–60 minutes. I teach beginners through to advanced students, including AMEB preparation and students learning for enjoyment.
