About Yesenia
I am a Puerto-Rican Native Spanish Speaker born and raised in New York City. I perfected my Spanish speaking skills by spending every summer in Puerto Rico from the time I was 2 years old until I was 18. I also took classes in college to perfect my writing and grammatical skills. I began tutoring at the age of 16, and continued to tutor and teach privately until the beginning of the pandemic. I then stopped for a while, and returned to teaching privately but remotely.

I have been working with students of all ages since 2008. I specialize in working one-on-one with my students to identify the areas in which they are struggling and then developing an educational plan to ensure that they are successful and seeing progress. My students enjoy working with me because I am patient and take my time to make sure that they have a full understanding of the material before we move on. I specialize in working with individuals that are Neurodivergent and have ADHD.
