About Gloria
I am a native Spanish speaker who holds a degree in English Philology from the University of Seville. Throughout my degree I have studied Spanish, English, and German language and literature. I have a particular interest in the development, evolution, and use of English and Spanish grammar, and believe my philological studies permit me to offer more complete and exhaustive tuition, particularly beneficial to those in need of assistance with advanced-level Spanish.
Over the last 6 months I have given Spanish language and oral classes to first-year Spanish undergraduates at Royal Holloway, University of London. I also have extensive experience tutoring Spanish-speaking 13-17 year olds English as a foreign language.
Having both learned and tutored two foreign languages, I appreciate the importance of finding one´s own preferred learning style and method to the ease and rate of progression with which a language can be learned. I am open to the needs of each tutee, and am willing to work with each individual to find the most appropriate approach for them.
