I begin by identifying exactly where a student's understanding breaks down — a specific concept, a recurring mistake, or exam technique — rather than re-teaching everything from the start. From there, I work through clear, step-by-step explanations using worked examples, making sure students understand the reasoning behind each method, not just the steps to reach an answer. This makes it easier for them to apply what they've learned to new or unfamiliar problems, not just memorized question types.
