About Jigyasa
Hi! I’m Jigyasa an experienced tutor with over 3+ years of teaching experience.
One thing I know about myself is that I genuinely love teaching and answering questions. I’ve had a keen interest in Science, Mathematics and academics from an early age, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. I also studied Science in Classes 11 and 12 as a medical aspirant.
I’ve worked with students from different age groups and learning levels, from young children who need extra support with their basics to students studying more advanced concepts.
I believe that learning should never stop, and that every student is capable of much more than their marks sometimes suggest. I’ve seen students improve from F and E grades to B, B+ and even A grades. I don’t see that as something magical it often happens when a student gets the right guidance, patience and encouragement.
My aim as a teacher is to help students discover that potential in themselves. I believe the ability to learn is already present in every student; a teacher simply helps nurture it, much like a gardener helps a plant grow. That is why I always make sure my students are not just completing lessons, but genuinely understanding, gaining confidence and moving forward whatever their starting level may be.

My classes focus on building strong conceptual foundations rather than simply memorizing information. I explain every topic from the basics, using real-life examples, relatable contexts and simple explanations to help students understand the “why” behind a concept.
I also use a question-driven approach throughout the class. I regularly ask students questions to encourage active thinking, identify gaps in understanding and make the lesson interactive. Practice is an important part of my teaching, so I use carefully selected questions to strengthen concepts and gradually increase the level of difficulty.
A typical class begins with a quick review of the student’s existing understanding, followed by concept-building from the fundamentals. We then apply the concept through examples and questions, address doubts, and finish with practice or a short recap.
My goal is to make even complex topics feel simple and approachable. I encourage students to ask questions freely even questions they may consider “silly” because curiosity (Jigyasa) and discussion are an important part of learning.
These classes are especially suitable for school students and foundation seekers who want to strengthen their foundations in Science, Biology, Mathematics and other academic subjects, improve conceptual understanding, and gradually develop confidence with more advanced topics.
