About Magi
I’m a Medical Laboratory Technician and Clinical Placement Coordinator with experience helping students prepare for education, placements, and careers. As a mother, I’ve guided my two sons through sports, certifications, first jobs, career exploration, and university applications. I enjoy helping parents and teens find practical opportunities and their next steps.

Are you unsure how to help your teenager choose activities, find their first job, explore careers, or prepare for college and university?
I can help.
I am a Medical Laboratory Technician by profession and currently work as a Clinical Placement Coordinator at a private college.
I also have firsthand experience navigating these decisions with my two sons. I helped them explore different sports until they chose soccer as their primary sport, earn their lifeguard certifications, and turn their soccer skills into their first jobs as certified referees at age 12.
To help them explore careers, I arranged volunteer experiences in medical offices, pharmacies and a law office. When they chose pharmacy, both worked as pharmacy technicians while in Grade 10.
I also supported them through post-secondary research and applications. One was accepted into the CAP program at Waterloo, and my other son is currently in his second year of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto, after completing three years of undergraduate studies at Waterloo.
I can help with:
