About Candy
I am a fully qualified Pharmacist with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy. In addition, I am a qualified Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
I have given private tuition lessons to others before and have also been regularly providing academic tuition and personal development sessions to junior Pharmacy staff in my workplace as well as university students studying Pharmacy.

I am currently working on a part-time basis as a Pharmacist therefore can dedicate the remaining of my time to tutoring. I thoroughly enjoy helping others to learn and succeed.
I have an interest in developing people’s skills and potential as well as their knowledge in a given subject. Thus, I can offer advice and one-to-one classes on school/university applications, job applications, interview techniques and practice as well as maths lessons.
I strongly believe that the most effective approach to teaching is firstly mutually identifying the student’s learning objectives or areas for development and then setting a goal that is measurable, achievable and realistic.
I can be flexible in my teaching style as I understand that it can vary depending on the context of the topic being taught and the student’s needs/preferences. Regardless of the teaching method, I always ensure that each lesson is interactive, captures the interest of the student and stimulates thinking from them in order to reach understanding.
