About Behpour

I am an experienced professor in mathematics with a PhD degree in Mathematics from Dalhousie University, and a Master's Degree in Systems Science from the University of Ottawa. For about 33 years, I have taught a variety of mathematical courses at the University Level.

About the lesson

My objective is to motivate students to develop their own learning interests. In particular, teaching a wide range of courses, from Calculus and Algebra to advanced Mathematical Analysis courses has made me aware of the needs and interests of students in Mathematics.

This review concerns Ambarish´s Daughter, ISHA, who is now one of my students. Isha is a very talented student an she is very eager and motivated to learn mathematics. Isha patiently listens to my instructions and if she needs, she asks me to explain the subject in more details.

Isha tries to solve problems by her own skills and knowledge, then she shows her works to me to find out if her solution is correct and, if not, carefully understand, what might be wrong in her solution. I think this is the best way that she has chosen to develop her skills in mathematics.
