About Leila
As a qualified physics teacher with a master’s degree in education, I bring both expertise and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Over the years, I’ve developed a teaching style that combines clarity, structure, and encouragement, ensuring that every student feels supported and capable of mastering even the most challenging concepts.
My professionalism is reflected in the way I prepare lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I value punctuality, consistency, and communication, and I take my students’ progress very seriously. Whether we are reviewing fundamental concepts or solving advanced problems, I provide a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment.
Students can feel confident learning with me because I not only teach the material, I teach them how to think like a scientist, ask questions, and find meaning behind every formula. My goal is to make physics approachable, logical, and enjoyable while building the confidence needed to excel in school and beyond.
With Leila, you’re not just getting a tutor, you’re gaining a committed educator who believes in your potential and works with you every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Leila, a passionate and experienced physics teacher with a master’s degree in education. I believe that every student can succeed in physics when concepts are presented clearly, connected to real life examples, and practiced through guided problem solving.
My approach focuses on understanding over memorization. I use simple language, visuals, and interactive discussions to help students truly grasp what’s happening behind each formula. I encourage curiosity by linking physics ideas to everyday situations, like how seatbelts work, why a ball slows down, or how momentum is conserved.
Each session starts with a quick review of prior knowledge to identify what students already understand and where they need support. Then, we move into step-by-step explanations of new topics, use practice problems, and wrap up with a short recap or quiz to reinforce learning. My lessons are designed to build confidence gradually while strengthening both conceptual understanding and problem solving skills.
I specialize in teaching middle and high school students, including those preparing for Regents exams or general physics courses. Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, or finally understand the “why” behind physics, my lessons are tailored just for you.
