About Samuel
I teach since 1992. Former student of Prof. Marie Thérèse (she was professor of conservatory in Paris for 20 years). I speak four languages, among which: French, English, Spanish. I have already trained more than a hundred students. Currently I have 58 students in a school in Santiago (RD). Thanks to my pedagogical approach my students have received diplomas; they play in church; they give concerts of Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, etc ... I propose private lessons of Piano for children, adults, all ages of the level beginner to the intermediate level, based on a personalized musical follow-up: Découverte - Methodical apprenticeship - Improvement - End of year concert. I find essential theoretical fundamentals including solfège, to be accomplished as a pianist on solid bases. However, I also teach methods without music theory, called "modern", when the student wants to play church for example. I am convinced that the teaching of the Piano goes hand in hand with the practice of the instrument, my pupils play from the first lesson. I organize a competition and at the end of the year a concert with the students who wish to participate. I also organize recitals at the church to motivate young pianists who want to play the hymns and praises. I teach music theory, piano. For beginner and intermediate levels. 30 minutes: 45 euros 45 minutes: 55 euros I teach classes face to face at the student's home. I give lessons by webcam.

Learning to play the piano is an asset for the reorganization of the brain. This obviously allows to have a better academic preparation, a better lifestyle, a perfect balance. I have a master's degree in higher education and applied linguistics. I have a degree in piano music, 25 years experience as a teacher. Currently I am director and professor in the "Escuela de Música de la Iglesia Adventista Central de Santiago, RD. My passion is to guide the student so that music is a real development tool at all levels.
