About Ben
I am a primary school teacher with 4 years experience. Prior to that I have secondary computing and ESL experience. Providing children with the skills they need to function well in life, not just for tests, is a key part of my educational philosophy.

My teaching method is by using a mastery approach to maths. This involves understanding how the numbers are formed and being given opportunity, over time, to try a number of different methods to solve problems. Having these different approaches offers the child more than one strategy and so consequently more confidence when facing challenge.
I also offer KS1 & KS2 English tuition.
