About Gabin
Hi, my name is Gabin and I'm 21. I'm an international student from France, studying at the University of Kent in Canterbury. I'm an undergraduate student in Politics and International Relations.
I believe my love for traveling and learning languages has led me to become a language tutor. I speak French, English, Spanish and I'm learning Arabic.
I've been an English tutor for a over year, with french children aged 10 to 18. I know how to make my lessons enjoyable and interesting to children. I've done tutoring in person and online - I use Google meet, Google drive & documents for lessons, and Quizlet for vocabulary and grammar.

With over a year of private language tutoring experience with students aged 10 to 18, I design my lessons to meet the needs and learning abilities of my students.
I like my lessons to be individualised and goal-oriented, whether it's grammar rules, conjugations, vocabulary, or pronunciation. I plan my lessons to follow the progress of the student, in addition to weekly vocabulary lists. Each time I introduce a lesson, I send the material to my students first so that they have time to familiarise themselves. By doing some preparation before the class, the core of my lesson is practicing with exercises and learning new vocabulary. I like to finish my lessons in a fun way with online quizzes and games (Quizlet) to keep the learning process enjoyable.
For French GCSE exam preparation, I use both foundation and higher subject exam-style material to cover all topics of the curriculum. Each lesson is designed to cover one topic with exam-style exercises and vocabulary. I'm happy to design my lessons to meet the student's needs, whether it's speaking, listening, writing or reading !
