About Hiroko

Being raised in Osaka, I speak perfect Kansai dialect in addition to beautiful standard Japanese. I started teaching in 2003 and have taught not only in Japan but in other countries such as the US, South Korea, and Laos. My experience is mainly from teaching in a classroom at school but I have taught individual students also. Spending lots of time overseas, I value the differences of culture, societies, circumstances and people. Give me a shout whenever you are ready.

About the lesson

The lesson is held in Japanese only but English is occasionally used for translation/explanation to help students save time, understand better, and get more comfortable.
The beginners and intermediate students are expected to take a couple of lessons a week to improve their performance efficiently.
Usually the teacher chooses textbooks for each student depending on his/her level, but personal preferences are considered. Homework is assigned each time.

An experienced professional Japanese teacher gives you the ideal lessons with lots of fun!
