About Kurt
I am a 5th year student studying Chemical Engineering and Finance with plans to study my Masters of Primary Teaching and becoming a teacher after I complete my undergraduate degree. I am looking for primary students in Math and or english tutoring with the capacity to provide casual or regular part time babysitting and other household duties.
I have 3 years of experience working with children from kindy level through to upper high school in a range of roles including:

I am an energetic, caring, reliable and fun babysitter that loves working with children!
Based in my living arrangements, I can work in both northern and southern suburbs.
My name is Kurt, I am 24, I have a range of experience over the last 5 years working with children that has made me extremely patient, kind, engaging and understanding in my work.
Most recently I worked as a Special Needs Education Assistant in a mainstream pre-primary class. I am looking for casual or regular babysitting or PP-Y6 tutoring work for evenings and weekends.
I am a qualified and full time working engineer and I am also studying my Master's in Primary Teaching.
I enjoy helping children learn through age appropriate play and a range of other structured and unstructured learning experiences. I love playing sports, exploring outside, doing arts and crafts, and cooking while babysitting. I am exceptionally organised and will be prepared, punctual and use my initiative to keep your children engaged. Most importantly, my first priority will always be the safety of your child.
I have my WWCC, police clearance, first aid certificate (with CPR), drivers license and my own safe car.
I have 5 years of experience working with kids across a range of roles including:
• Special Needs Education Assistant in a Pre-primary class
• Volunteering mainstream education assistant (years 1-3)
• Babysitting (regular & casual, ages 1-12) - references available upon request
• Private tutoring (primary & high school)
• Primary school (year 1 and 4) math tutor in a regional school in the Teach Learn Grow Rural Program
• Volunteering in Laverton Youth Centre
• Teaching English in primary schools in Nepal for 3 months
• Coordinating the Engineers Without Borders School Outreach program (1200 students per year)
• University Mentor for high school and primary school students (Curtin Student Ambassador and an AHEAD mentor)
• Judge for Social Science category of Creative Edge problem solving (previously Optiminds) challenges for primary and high school students
My availability is weekends and weekday evenings. I am happy to take regular or casual/ad hoc work.
My rate is $25 per hour
I will happily complete any additional cleaning, tidying, cooking, or other tasks that you required.
