About KARL
I am an evolutionary biologist and a science communicator, passionate about the beauty behind science. For my science background I currently hold a Master of Science from the department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior at the University of Minnesota in the USA and a PhD in Biological Sciences from The University of Western Australia (UWA). I have more than 15 years of experience working in evolutionary biology research, including work at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama, the University of Minnesota, Heinrich Heine University in Germany and The University of Western Australia / Western Australian Museum in Australia.
