About Hadis

I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as a second Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from UBC with a research focus on gene regulation. Over the past 7+ years, I have tutored both high school and university students in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biology, helping them build confidence and achieve higher grades.
In addition to academic tutoring, I also prepare students for the MCAT, having scored 129 in the Chem/Phys and Bio/Biochem sections myself. My firsthand experience with the exam allows me to share not only the content knowledge but also the proven test-taking strategies that make a real difference on test day.
As a tutor, I am patient, adaptable, and results-driven. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps while tailoring my approach to each individual’s strengths and needs. My goal is not only to help students succeed on exams but also to spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of science.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be interactive, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. I start by identifying your current level and goals, then create a structured plan that builds both understanding and confidence.
For high school and university science subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), I focus on breaking down concepts into simple steps, reinforcing learning with practice problems, and connecting theory to real-world applications.
For MCAT prep, I combine content review with exam strategies, teaching you how to approach complex passages, manage time effectively, and avoid common traps. I use practice questions and section-specific drills to strengthen weak areas, drawing on the strategies that helped me score 129 in Chem/Phys and Bio/Biochem.
Every lesson is student-centered: I adjust my teaching style to match your pace, provide personalized feedback, and encourage active problem-solving. By the end of each session, you will walk away with greater clarity, stronger skills, and a clear strategy for moving forward.
