About Megan
Science has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been fascinated by how the world works, from the tiniest cells in our bodies to the vastness of space. That passion led me to earn a degree in biomedical science, where I deepened my understanding of these amazing concepts. But what I love even more than learning science is sharing it with others.
Teaching gives me the chance to help students like you see the beauty and excitement in science. I love those moments when something clicks for you—when a concept suddenly makes sense or you realise how it connects to real life. That’s why I do this: to help you not only improve your grades but also discover how incredible science can be.
Whether you need help with a specific topic, want to boost your confidence before an exam, or just want to explore science in a fun, engaging way, I’m here for you. We will spend the first session going over basic concepts to determine where your learning gaps are, then prioritize which ones need to be addressed first. From there, we will create a plan tailored to your specific needs, ensuring that we focus on the areas where you need the most support while reinforcing your strengths.
As a qualified teacher with QTS and currently serving as the Deputy Science Lead at my school, I bring both expertise and a deep understanding of how to effectively teach complex scientific concepts. My lessons are designed to be interactive, using real-world examples to make science relatable and easier to grasp.
I believe in a supportive and encouraging learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s how true learning happens.
