About Nour
Hi, I'm Nour – a dedicated educator and clinical scientist with over 8 years of experience teaching science, maths, and computer science. Before transitioning to my current role as a clinical scientist in the NHS, I spent several years as a secondary school teacher, helping students grasp the core principles of these subjects. My diverse background in education and healthcare allows me to bring real-world applications to the lessons I teach, making them both engaging and relevant. I have taught in secondary schools, colleges, and universities, providing expert instruction in all three sciences, Maths, and Computer Science up to A-level. My teaching approach is highly individualised, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to excel in exams and develop a deeper understanding of the material. Key highlights of my experience: Teaching at Multiple Levels: From secondary school to university, I’ve taught subjects including biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, and computer science. I’ve also volunteered to teach maths and statistics to help students sharpen their analytical skills. STEAM Ahead Programme: As part of the STEAM Ahead initiative, I led interactive workshops, using tools like drones, 3D printers, and Mayku Formbox to inspire students towards careers in engineering, research, and technology. Multilingual Tutor: Fluent in Russian and Arabic, I am well-equipped to help non-native speakers overcome language barriers and succeed academically. Now, while working as a clinical scientist, I have the time to tutor and share my expertise with students in a way that builds their confidence and knowledge. In our first lesson, I’ll assess your current level and design a personalised learning plan to tackle any challenges you face, ensuring you excel in exams and beyond.
