About Amelia

Hi, my name is Amelia. I am an encouraging and enthusiastic teacher who is always looking to get the best out of my students!
Having studied Spanish for so many years, I know how daunting it can be to learn and want to make the process a fun and rewarding experience.
After living in Madrid and studying Spanish at university, I have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of topics on the Spanish-speaking world - so we can practise speaking about topics that interest you!

About the lesson

I have been tutoring Spanish A-level online for a year, focusing on ensuring fluidity when speaking.
Having recently achieved an A in Spanish A-level, I understand the system and know how to succeed in the exams.
I have also tutored young children so am able to work with all ages!
My lessons will be based on having conversations on specific topics using conversation starters and questions. At the end of each session we will go over any unknown vocabulary or grammar mistakes made during the conversation.
With the aim to develop verbal communication skills, my teaching focuses on building confidence to express yourself in Spanish in both a personal and professional setting.
