About Grant
I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated swimming coach who enjoys helping people become more confident and comfortable in the water. I take pride in creating a positive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to improve at their own pace.
I understand that every swimmer learns differently, so I adapt my coaching to suit each person’s ability, goals, and individual needs. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to swimming, or looking to improve your technique, I bring patience, clear instruction, and a professional approach to every lesson.
My goal is not only to teach swimming skills but also to help students develop confidence, consistency, and a genuine enjoyment of being in the water. I believe progress comes from good guidance, regular practice, and feeling comfortable enough to keep learning.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, children, teenagers, and adults, as well as swimmers who already have experience and want to improve their technique, confidence, or overall ability in the water. Whether someone is learning to swim for the first time or looking to develop existing skills, I tailor each lesson to their individual needs.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up and a review of previous skills, followed by focused practice on technique, breathing, body position, coordination, and water confidence. I introduce new skills gradually, demonstrate each movement clearly, and give simple feedback throughout the lesson. We finish by reviewing progress and identifying what to continue working on.
