I’m a certified middle school math teacher with recent experience teaching 6th grade (2024–25 school year). My philosophy is simple: math is practical, you have to do it to learn it. In my lessons, students don’t just watch me solve problems—they practice step by step, apply strategies, and discover how math connects to real life.
A typical session starts with a quick review, then guided practice where we work through problems together, and finishes with independent practice to build confidence. I use clear explanations, visual models, and interactive methods so math feels less intimidating and more achievable.
