About SIMON
I am an experienced tutor, teacher and manager of teachers with expertise in how to design learning resources that maximise pupil progress. I have experience leading A Levels for English Literature, English Langugae and Literature, Media Studies and Film Studies and have experience teaching and tutoring English, Maths, Media, Music and History.
I have experience of managing large cohorts of students through A Level and GCSE entries and know exactly how to get students through these exams. I have a great passion for sport and music and enjoy pursuing these hobbies through working with young people.

Hi, my name is Simon Gardiner. I am an experienced tutor, teacher and manager of teachers with expertise in how to design learning resources that maximise pupil progress. I have experience leading A Levels for English Literature, English Langugae and Literature, Media Studies and Film Studies and have experience teaching and tutoring English, Maths, Media, Music and History at GCSE and A Level.
At GCSE, my sessions are usually an hour and at A Level, my sessions are normally 2 hours. I can be flexible with these timings though! I aim to make my sessions engaging and enjoyable by using relevant textual examples that are of interest to my students. My main focus is to always ensure that the lesson links to assessment criteria that the relevant exam board states so that all lessons allow pupils to make progress towards their exam.
