About Rhys
Hi, I’m Rhys, Head Coach and Owner of Topspin Tennis Geelong and a Tennis Australia Development Coach. I’ve coached for six years, starting at Moriac Tennis Club before moving to Geelong Lawn Tennis Club. I’ve worked with players of all ages and abilities, from Hot Shots beginners to competitive juniors and adults. I also assist at Barwon Sports Academy, coach Geelong College’s 10A Senior Tennis Team, and was Head Coach at Geelong Lawn Tennis Club in 2025.
I’m studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at Deakin University and bring a positive, supportive approach to every lesson. I’ve played tennis since I was eight, represented Barwon, competed in tournaments around Australia and played high-level pennant across Victoria. I’m passionate about helping players build skills and confidence, achieve their goals and enjoy tennis for life.
