About Maria ISABEL
I am a UK-trained, native Spanish speaker with 20 years of teaching and Head of Department experience, and a proven track record of outstanding student results. I have reduced my hours in school to have better work-life balance and so, I have some availability for tutoring whether students or adults. I am a former senior examiner so I know exactly what it takes to excel. ️I am a textbook author – I have written KS3-KS5 Spanish textbooks for Oxford University Press and IB resources for Cambridge University Press. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges in education, especially the shortage of highly effective language teachers in the classroom. I know how difficult it can be for students to engage with language learning when they don’t have the confidence or the right support, and that’s why I’m passionate about making Spanish accessible, engaging, and successful for every student. My goal is simple: to help students master Spanish with confidence, clarity, and enjoyment. Whether it’s making tricky grammar easy to understand or helping students prepare for exams, I want to bridge the gap in language education and ensure every student reaches their potential.
