About Kile

Quite simply, we take the time to know our clients. From first contact we discuss exactly what the client is hoping to achieve from working with us, and what they liked or did not like from thier last professional.

Our passion is reflected in our company name "Rebel Tax Solutions". The name recalls our origins as Americans as a people who felt so strongly about our tax matters we were willing to stand up for them, and fight for them if needed. The Ruling British Monarchy called these people "Rebels". We call them Americans.. " No Taxation without Representation" is our mantra.

We will help students interested in tax law or tax preparation understand the inner workings of the IRS and state tax agencies, as well as know preparing tax returns backwards and forward.

I began my journey as an intern with a tax law firm, representing clients in front of the IRS that faced wage garnishment, liens, levies and even criminal charges. After gaining invaluable experience there, and discovering the exact depths of which you can change someone's life for the better, I knew this was the path for me.

From there, I took work as a tax preparer for several firms, starting with simple individual returns, and working up to the more complex. Property owners, stock, bonds, annuities, and eventually small businesses. Before I was finished I was preparing corporate and partnership returns.

Then it was on to my first management role. I managed a single store for a major tax prep chain for a bit, then moving on to managing the entire district.

The next stop was in a duel role as sales lead, and tax director for a private firm. Handling all types of resolutions, and advising sales agents.

Finally, after eight years of experience in the field , I was ready for my own practice. While I do a variety of tax representation sertvices, I continue to teach to new students interested in the craft, so others may be inspired for the same reasons I was.

I currently have held an Enrolled Agent License for 6 years, and hold a degree in accounting.

About the lesson

A discussion first about what the student hopes to achieve, focusing as much as possible on the topics they are most interested in.

From there study texts are issued, and/or real return examples, reveiwing and completing returns together covering a host of situations, working on a variety of the latest software.
