Hey guys! David here! It seems like learning guitar can be a little overwhelming for anyone who is a beginniner. That feeling is something i myself struggled with as well, but over the past 10 years, i've learned to take an approach to the guitar that is simple and easy. Starting out as an "ear learner", I really tailored my playing around that philosophy as a beginner, but my technique suffered terribly! I was oblivious to what i was doing to actually hinder my playing! Even things such as holding the guitar correctly could have given me such an early advantage. But attending Nashville School of the Arts, majoring in guitar, as a part of my four high school years allowed me to really turn my playing around. It's been 5 years since i've graduated high school and i now attend MTSU for an audio production specialty. I've played in jazz bands, swing bands, and a few recreactional bands over the years as well. IF you want simple, easy guitar tips at a really fair price. I'm your guy. I just enjoy teaching others so they can expand their knowledge and apply it in a meaningful way to their playing.

the first couple of meetings i'll want to access where they are skill set wise, then we will go over beginner topics such as chords and major and minor scales. Then, we will discuss the major and minor blues scales and why they are so important in a 12 bar blues. Next we will move on to modes and how to improvise within those modes. Finally we will discuss how these techniques can be used to create songs.
