About Jennifer

I am a Broadway actor who has been in the business for 25 years and would love to share my love of the work with you! I am here to help you work on acting songs, monologues, scenes or to coach auditions. Bring material you love and know/ are familiar with and we can work together to find the best way for you to tell the story.

Broadway credits include Miss Honey in Matilda, Standby for Sutton Foster in Violet, and most recently Girl from the North Country.

Across the country, Jen has starred in plays and musicals including the Sound of Music at the Drury Lane in Chicago, for which she was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award.

TV credits include The Blacklist, FBI and New Amsterdam.

BFA from NYU Tisch- CAP21/ETW.

I grew to love acting as a kid doing plays in community theater and in high school. It turned into a career for me and I have learned so much over the years, I am always thrilled when I can share that and help others on their way. I am a mother of two and have worked extensively with children onstage and off, and love working with young people, helping them build confidence, and encouraging their dreams.

Over the years working as an actress, I have been asked to give master classes at schools and colleges. I still work primarily as an actress, but am looking to bring more students into my life because I so enjoy working with them.

I have worked on stages across the country for 25 years professionally and am constantly still in class myself! It is always helpful to have an outside eye, so that you can be present inside of the material. I have a BFA from NYU Tisch where I studied at CAP21 and at the Experimental Theater Wing.

I have also worked extensively with kids in my career and am very passionate about sharing my love for theater with the next generation.

About the lesson

I will send you an intake form with some questions so that I know what you are interested in and working towards. In our first session, I like to tack on ten minutes free of charge to discuss some goals and get to know each other a bit. From there, we will either dive right into your material or work on some warm ups and then get to your monologue/scene/song. I will give adjustments and ask questions to help you find the best way to tell the story of the piece and to help you bring what is uniquely YOU to it.

Kids aged 7- Young adults 22.
