About Sara
I think the most unique thing about my lessons is that I am able to teach you how to break into the New York City, Atlanta, or LA markets regardless of where you currently live. There's no need to move to audition and book in these markets. I'm also different than other coaches in that I look at the big picture of what's going on in your life and how you can use that in your work. We talk about what's blocking you and how to fix it. I have a degree in Psychology which is extremely helpful. I've won multiple acting awards for my recent projects.
I love working with actors and writers! I love seeing people grow and transform. I love being able to take someone that lives in Texas and show them how to break into acting in New York without having to leave their house! I love seeing other people succeed and knowing that they are achieving their goals.
I have been an actress on stage and in film for 28 years. I work frequently in New York City, train at some of the best acting schools in New York, and went to college at the University of Northern Colorado as an acting and directing major. As a writer I have won many awards. I produce my own films with major film companies. I coached privately with some of the most respected New York City professionals.

I almost always work with students via Skype as my students come from all over the USA. I can travel to you or have you come to my home studio if we are close enough in distance. We begin by getting to know each other and I'll ask you a series of questions to determine what your goals are, what's your experience says, and where you need to focus your training.
I work with children, and adults of all abilities and levels of experience. I work with people who are 100% theater, people who are 100% film, and those who are working to transition from theater to film or vice versa.
Find someone that you were comfortable with! Every coach has a different style and you want to find someone who is going to push you to do your best, be honest with you in their feedback, and yet treat you gently enough that you feel supported in your journey.

Perfect! my 10-y-o daughter had her first lesson with Sara today. Sara is amazing! She is so warm and playful and creative and my daughter felt instantly comfortable with her and she learned a lot in just one hour. As a parent of a dyslexic child, I feel so grateful that Sara has experience working with kids with special needs and it shows in her patience and encouragement. And Sara has been wonderful about communicating with me. I couldn't recommend her more!

I have been writing scripts for years and never got anywhere. I didn't know how much I was missing in terms of format and story development. Sara showed me a system of how to organize my idea for a script. How to chart out the story points and make sure everything flows and gets tied up nicely just by this simple guideline she showed me to follow. Now once I have my outline sketched out, my dialogue writes itself.
Sara had so many tips and tricks for getting into the major markets! Her acting coaching was intense - she was so present with me as my reader. She showed me how to improve my marketing and how to audition to book the room. I can't say enough how much she has helped me.
