About
Hi, I’m Jonathen Wallace, a professional actor based in Los Angeles with a background in stunt coordination, fight choreography, and actor training. My passion is helping actors create truthful, emotionally connected performances that stand out both in the audition room and on set.
I trained at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre, where I also assisted with the children’s program and Lucid Body workshops. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with actors at every stage of their journey, helping them build confidence, deepen their connection to character, and develop the physical freedom needed to tell compelling stories.
I am also the author of Becoming: How to Connect to Character Deeply, a practical guide that explores the techniques and exercises I’ve developed to help actors strengthen their imagination, emotional connection, and character work. My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that great performances come from understanding the person behind the character—not simply memorizing lines.
Through my Film Kombat platform, I combine traditional acting techniques with movement, stage combat, and on-camera performance to create a well-rounded training experience. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, rehearsing a role, working on self-tapes, or looking to become more physically expressive as an actor, every session is tailored to your individual goals.
My goal is simple: to give you practical tools, honest feedback, and a supportive environment that helps you grow into a more confident, versatile, and authentic performer.
