About Vannessa

I love going through auditions and helping people do their best. I feel very lucky to have been able to have success but I also know what is required.

I love watching people smile after they do an audition and they know they just created something magical that will exceed far beyond the audition room.

I started a couple of years ago helping actors do self-tapes then they turned into acting sessions. I just love working through scenes to find the magic them.

I studying acting at the University of Houston. Im also a psychology major. In Hollywood I trained at the Stella Adler Academy, Ive attending many casting workshops. I have also studied the 8 characters of comedy and on-camera classes with Scott Sedita. Improv I've trained with UCB teachers and Second City.

About the lesson

I would typically start off with you sending me an email, telling what it is you need help with. From there we can decide if you are doing improv,comedy, dramatic, dramedy and how long it will take. We set a time, bring in 2 sides if possible and we work from there to have your best take possible. I will run exercises with you, tongue twisters if needed, anything to help you have a great performance, and leave with a new experience each time.

All kinds, beginner to professionals, 17-40 years old.

Do as much research as you can about a teacher. If you cant find their credentials online I would advise to stay away. Go with your gut always. If something or someone doesnt feel right stay away, block and report them.

When you are working with a teacher dont be afraid to ask questions. You should feel free to do your best work at all times. If your teacher suggest for you to do a take a certain way but you dont feel its natural for your character. Tell your teacher, you want to be as real as possible and honest in your work.

I know what some teachers charge but I am also an actor so I understand. My pricess are very affordable compared to whats out there. $30 for -30 min or $45 for an hour- I would like for us to take some time to work through things but if you have something quick we can knock it out real quick.
