About Katie

I Speak English and Russian.

Won for best actor and Best Director in multiple films, and theatre off-broadway plays. Along with my own film, That I have directed and starred in.

I teach Beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Along with auditions and on camera work.

I first Find what is deep down inside of you as an actor, that can book you that job, that can make you stand out, that can make you shine! THAT something... no one can take away from you, because they don’t have it. I will show you how to control emotions throughout each scene, how to play fearlessly in each genre! how to build character the right way and how to feel moments without “performing” but actually LIVING under imaginary corcumstances, Becuase there is a HUGE difference. And I promise I will have you looking back and being extremely proud of yourself in how much you have grown and maybe even booked!

I’m a director as well, so I will always seek what I’m looking for in an actor. And hopefully one day that can be you! And we can work together.

About the lesson

First I find out who they are, because that has a lot to do with what kind of actor they can be and grow to be while enjoying the whole process.

Then we start building their emotional reaction, their character build up, how they listen ,their power on how to control the audience and the camera. Pushing them to get out of their comfort zone and do something for themselves that will make them question their limits on what they can do not only in acting but in this world.

Their fears, their strengths, their weaknesses… And how to use that in the audition room the right way and in filming and /or theater. I’m also a director along with being an actress, and I’m always looking for new actors that can move me.
