About Rei
I've been an active coach for young men and women for 5 years. I was also a high school drama teacher for 3 years.
I've taken Musical theatre courses at Cambridge University UK, film courses at UM, and received my BA at Florida International University. My Bachelors is in Theatre Education and I strive on sparking people's passions for Theatre, film, and the arts.
I can help students learn the essentials to get them started; what acting is, what the history of theatre and acting is, improv skills, research for roles, acting methods, how to audition, tricks and tips to get hired, and how to find acting jobs in your area!

Working with new students I ask them to perform a monologue for me and audition right at our first meeting. This way I can gauge their skill, practice, research insight, and their general experience level.
I've worked mainly with 14 to 18-year-olds, but I have had my fair share experience with younger and older crowds.

Having Rei as a teacher was a great experience! She formed a solid connection between teacher and student, becoming both a good friend and a great teacher. My favorite moments were her hands-on lessons, helping me understand the lessons better than most teachers would teach it. When it comes to improvement, the only comment I have is that there weren't enough of these lessons! They're both very fun and very thorough in teaching experiences.
Overall I'm honored to have had Rei as a teacher and even more honored to have her as a friend. If I could have her as a teacher again I would gladly accept that offer without delay.She is amazing. She really tries to find a way to connect with you, and she is very real. She will never lie to you and is not afraid to speak her mind. 10/10 love her
