About Amanda
I offer acting lessons and public speaking lessons to children and teens. My focus is on building confidence while teaching the basics of acting. I teach to those who are both interested in pursuing a career in entertainment and those just looking for a fun activity. Acting lessons can help children and teens in a variety of ways such as building thier confidence, social skills, and public speaking skills. I think one of the main goals is for my students to have fun. My website is (concealed information)
I began teaching after a desire to share what I know with others. I also started teaching because from personal experience I saw how many benefits there were to taking acting classes, especially while young.
I have a degree in film studies from Purchase College. I have also taken acting classes for several years at schools such as HB Studio.

When working with a new student I like to start by getting to know them and thier interests. Then begin with fun acting or improv excerises to prepare to work on scenes, commercial sides, and monologues.
