I have been teaching others applied math and applied Excel for 3 decades. I have experience in many different fields using Excel. My most enjoyable topic is Excel VBA, the programming layer of Excel. Most people do not know how much more robust and efficient their projects can be, using minimal coding.

I take an overview look at the assignment or project and give the student client an estimate. We briefly look over reading materials relevant to the assignment or project and then map out the solution. The student works through as I ask leading questions. Forcing the student to answer leading questions stimulates the student's critical thinking in a way that making statements cannot. Using this technique, students understand quickly and retain the information, long term.
