About Devin-Rose

The Unique Foodie Witchery specializes in baked goods using knowledge of fruits, herbs, spices and other baking staples to provide a unique and special product each centered around a specific spiritual need, i.e. Love, money, protection, ect. I can teach you anything from how to make an amazing pie for the holidays to how to make a birthday cake your family will always remember. I will also teach you how to pick your ingredients while they were in season and at their best to make the best product.

On top of baking for my own clients and doing various markets in NYC, I also teach baking at an after school program in Brooklyn which has just further nurtured my love of teaching. When you see a person go from nervous and unsure to being really proud of what they made abs and wanting to share it, it makes me so proud.

I've always enjoyed teaching, it comes natural to me, especially teaching about cooking. I've taught most of my family and am always a willing ear with my friends when a kitchen disaster happens.

I'm a graduate of the Art Institute of NY (formally the new york restaurant school). I've worked as a line cook and am currently teaching at an after school program.

About the lesson

First I like to talk with my students to find out what they would like to learn and how comfortable they are in the kitchen. Any skill level is welcome.

I've worked with all types of students from singles to new mom's and kids.

Find a teacher who is patient and kind. Baking is an art as well as a science. To merge the two and still have fun is the challenge. Remember, mistakes are a way to learn and grow.
