About Jeff

I have played the great game of Baseball my entire life. I moved through all types of competitive channels along my journey; through little league into high school, through American Legion, through College Showcase, before finalizing my baseball career with a full athletic scholarship to Missouri Valley College to be a pitcher. Upon finishing school, I volunteered to coach 9 year old little league baseball in my community and coached the team until they were 16 with 2 finishes as the #1 team in the nation. I have umpired as well for 6 years. It is safe to say I know the game of Baseball inside and out, and I would love to share my knowledge of the game with you as well. I encourage you to read more about me down below, and if you are interested in talking, the best way to reach me is by email.

My email address is (concealed information)

I started coaching and had a lot of success, started getting attention from baseball academies, I got offers to work in academies, however I decided to give lessons part time on the side.

I do have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I have coached little league, I have been a substitute teacher, I have been a tutor. I have a ton of experience woking with kids between the ages of 5 and 18. I have also given baseball lessons with adults as old as 20.

About the lesson

I like to speak with my student and get a feel for their base knowledge of the game, learn what their goals are as far as what positions they want to play, and if they want to be a pitcher or not. From there we start moving into more in depth methods of new techniques or reteaching techniques that could use some improvements. I have a style where I put a ton of information in the form of a question to see where the students mind is and then doing instruction before asking more questions. I do this so that we can be sure that the things that I am teaching have been understood by the students. I will teach based on the goals of the student. I offer lessons on infield teachniques, outfield techniques, batting, and pitching. I also can offer a full clinic that covers all aspects. I have experience working with entire teams; so we can discuss one on one lessons, working with multiple students, or coming in and working with coaches to assist in team coaching.

I have worked with my own baseball teams, then I started working with students that were not on my team. This led to working with students of all ages.

I would advise to find a teacher that relates to you, someone that has a teaching method that you respond to and makes it fun to learn the game.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about their own goals as far as what positions that they want to play and find a teacher that has experience playing at a high level of competition and is qualified to teach the techniques that will fine tune your skills to help you get where you want to be.
