Calming the fears and putting anxiety at bay by reassuring students that they are going to pass the class with the highest level of confidence.
The equipment that i use in my training classes are as real as possible. With a "clicker" that signifies a compression depth of 2 inches, our feedback devices, that work with an app on our phones, instructors have the ability to visually show students their compression depth, recoil and rate.
I also use real AEDs that we actually sell and service. They are set up for training purposes and work in conjunction with a silver strip installed under the mannequins "skin".

I have attended CPR classes every 2 years since 1998 and this past July I was able to attend a class led by Amy Sue, not only does she lead her class with knowledge and skill, she also engages students with personal stories and experiences which benefit the class and motivate each student for learning. I left that evening feeling good about nursing and confident that my skills taught that night would only enhance my nursing practice.
