About Caitlin

I take the time to understand the core reason why a student is struggling in a certain subject area before diving in to attempt to fix it. By doing this, especially in building subjects like math, I can better understand what the student comprehends and doesn't comprehend. Once the problem area has been identified we can start with a basic review of the knowledge needed going forward and solidify the foundation of learning.

As a current undergraduate student at Oklahoma State University, I am studying Integrative Biology and Cell and Molecular Biology, paired with a business minor. I have spent countless hours working with and tutoring children of all ages but find that I am extremely successful with younger children and understanding how to get through to them in new ways. I have previously peer tutored all through my high school years as part of a local tutoring program as well as worked for Oklahoma State University as a supplemental instructor for integrative biology.

I have previously worked with students of all ages (preschool - college students) in a multitude of subjects up to the collegiate level. About the lesson

When I work with a new student I take time to understand not only what the student is struggling with, but why they are struggling. Frequently, a short review can really help solidify the foundational knowledge required for moving foward.

For a standard one-hour online session I charge $22/hr.

For a standard one-hour lesson in person (local library, etc.) $24/hr.

I'm happy to meet as frequently as needed, short-term or long-term. I can also do sessions shorter or longer than one hour as needed, just ask!
