About Emmanuel

I'm passionate about seeing players develop their basketball skill and love of the game. Skill development is more about repetition of drills but it is studying and mastering the fundamentals and then continuing to build on that foundation.

My experience as a both a player (collegiate & pro) and coach has allowed me to communicate and teach effectively the things that help players improve their game and enjoy their experience on the court.

I have experience coaching at the youth level, at the college level, and at the pro level. I have been a part of winning programs and have worked with players who have gone on to earn college scholarships at the NCAA D1, D2, and NAIA level.

(concealed information)

I have worked with 5 Star Sports in China as a youth basketball coach. They are a NIKE affiliated program and have gone through training in curriculum used in skills training for U10-U18 club teams and high school programs.

I have also coached at the college level for two years at Dawson CC in Montana. There I was an assistant coach in charge of individual skill development in addition to other duties related to the team as a whole.

About the lesson

The first session will be very basic to establish and gauge a their skill level and understanding of basketball.

The next few sessions will be focused on establishing a good fundamental base. We will put in benchmarks and goals that will be measurable so the student can see how they have progressed.

All ages starting from beginners at 8 years old to HS and college players (D1, D2, NAIA, JuCO) all the way to players at the professional level
