About Aaron
Hello! Aaron Artrip here and I am here to teach you bass guitar! I specialize in beginner lessons focusing on three F's: Fundamentals, Focus, and FUN! I've played bass (and other instruments) for over 20 years, with no musical training outside of middle school trumpet. I've played in many group settings such as rock, blues, funk, jazz, cover/tribute acts and metal/prog projects. I've even composed for a small 80's synth wave project.
What sets me apart is my unique approach to creativity: I am a formally trained visual artist and believe in the crossing of creative outlets as I will often refer artistic fundamentals that transcend mediums (i.e. using words like texture, rhythm, contrast, color) to discuss music and music playing/listening.
