About Angela
I am a very enthusiastic individual who loves to help students in many versatile ways. I am a self-driven woman in science with aspirations to attend Medical School in the Fall of 2021. My services stand out because I understand the current pressures and procedures many schools are operating under. I bring a sense of understanding that others may not have.
My ultimate goal in life is to help others. I am currently a Personal Care Aide while attending College on a Full-Ride Scholarship. I have always possessed a love for learning and being able to pass that on or inspire others really gives me a sense of purpose. I feel that we have all experienced a time where we needed help but no one was able to take the time to explain it well. I want to be the one who takes the time to work with the student and help them achieve their academic goals.
I started tutoring in High School where students needed help with math and various other subjects. I love to help those who need it so teaching feels very natural. I recently taught as a TA for Biology for over 2 years while in college.
I am a Junior in college currently. I am majoring in Biomedical Science (Pre-Medicine) with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. I have taught as a TA for both my Freshman and Sophomore years. I have been too busy this semester to work; however, I will resume my TA position Senior year.

I like to find a base as to where their level of knowledge is and assess where it needs to be. I typically find various ways to help reiterate material for students of all learning types. If I am explaining something in a way where the student is confused, I am quick to figure out a new way of explaining in order to ensure nothing is being lost in translation.
I have worked with students of all ages; however, my focus has been mainly High School and College students.
When considering a teacher, it is important to consider not only their experience level, but also their ability to adapt to students with different learning styles.

Well my tutor Angie was really great and she made me excited about improving my knowledge and comprehension with her bubbly personality and commitment to her work. Also she is 20/10 gorgeous so that was a nice plus :)
